Laid Back Camp: TV Anime Official Details Out Now!

Laid Back Camp or Yurukyan is a popular television anime of Afro‘s Yurucamp manga. It came out on Tuesday that Tomoyo Kurosawa (Sound! Euphonium‘s Kumiko, Land of the Lustrous‘ Phos, O Maidens in Your Savage Season‘s Hongō) is going to accompany the second season with the character of Ayano Toki.

“Aya-chan” resides in Hamamatsu. Also, she is Nadeshiko’s childhood friend who knew her till they were in middle school. She is most known for her relaxed way of talking.

The second season will come out in January 2021.

The first anime came out in January 2018. Also, Crunchyroll took the responsibility of streaming the 12-episode series as it came out.

This “slow outdoor manga” is based on two young women. Rin wants to go camping by herself along the lakes which give out a beautiful scenic view of Mt. Fuji. Nadeshiko likes cycling trips by herself to various places where she can admire the beauty of Mt. Fuji. Once they meet, Rin and Nadeshiko start taking camping trips and cook ramen together and enjoy the scenic beauty.

Laid-Back Camp: Season 2

  • Yoshiaki Kyougoku who worked for Kuroko’s Basketball and Robotics, Notes episode director, Tokyo Ghoul unit director is the director of the first anime.
  • Jin Tanaka who worked for Kirakira, Precure a la Mode, Anne-Happy will handle the series composition.
  • Mutsumi Sasaki who worked for Dragonar Academy, Chaos; HEAd, Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ is the designer of character.
  • Akiyuki Tateyama who worked for Kuma Miko: Girl Meets Bear, Idol Incidents is the Music composed at MAGES.

This live-action television series adaptation of the original manga came out on January 9.

This manga came out in Houbunsha‘s Manga Time Kirara Forward magazine in 2015. Afro launched it. Also, Houbunsha put out the manga’s 10th compiled volume on March 12. Yen Press started putting out the manga translated in English in March 2018.

Laid Back Camp Season 2 is taking a long time to come. It is majorly because the announcement of the second season came out originally in October 2018 itself. The main reason for the huge gap is because of the Yuru Camp manga series not giving out enough source material until few days back.

It did not come out as a surprise that the announcement of the second season came out so early. The Sale of the Blu-Ray box sets in Japan reached the top of the Oricon charts in the starting week itself with the sele of 11,584 copies.
