Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway (Hige o Soru. Soshite Joshi Kōsei o Hirō) is set to be premiering on April 5, 2021, an anime television series adaptation of a Japanese romantic comedy light novel series by Shimesaba will be airing on channels such as AT-X, Tokyo MX, and BS11, and it will also be available to watch online on Aniplus and outside of Southeast Asia on Crunchyroll.

The first episode of the series has been titled “High School Girl Under A Telephone Pole” ( “Denchū no Shita no Joshi Kōsei”).
The opening theme is set to be by DIALOGUE “Omoide Shiritori,” and the ending theme is Kaori Ishihara’s “Plastic Smile.”

About The series
It is the story of a second-year high school runaway girl from Hokkaido who belongs to a wealthy family named “Oigawara,” she runs away because her life at home is like living in hell for her due to her fights with her mother every day she couldn’t find peace of mind for a single day.
To find a place to live, she sells herself to different men for the last six months. Finally, in Tokyo, she finds a man who refuses to use her to give her a place to stay; instead, he becomes her guardian seeing that Sayu has no place to go to; he allows her to stay in his home in exchange for doing housework. They both start to develop feelings for each other still keep it a secret to themselves.

Yoshida, a 26-year-old salaryman, was recently rejected by the woman he loved and deeply hurt. And after taking Sayu in, he begins to change for the better, and Sayu also starts to accept that she needs to go back home and face reality in the end.
They both begin to know each other better as they keep on living in the same house, and Sayu finally confesses her reasons to Yoshida for running away from home, which she has kept a secret from everyone till now. Yoshida tells her to take her time and decide when she wants to leave and go back home.
