Things are getting out of control on S.W.A.T season 5, episode 13 with an increase in the number of murders. In the last episode, we saw that Hondo’s sister Winnie was with their father Daniel, spending some quality time at her workplace, restoration museum. Later, things took a dangerous turn when a group of robbers got into the museum and took everyone into captivity.
Winne somehow managed to get a voice message to Hondo regarding the hostage situation which terrified him a lot for Winnie, and the SWAT reached the museum to lead a rescue mission. Meanwhile, Hondo was becoming impatient because the robbers locked up the entire building from inside and there was no way left to enter inside the museum. On the other hand, Winnie was all calm and composed and she was also trying to calm down her intern Julia as she was going through an anxiety attack.
About the Series
S.W.A.T is an American television series that is mainly based on action, crime, and drama, featuring the best police force in the USA. For the very first time, the show was aired on the 2nd of November, 2017, and immediately became everyone’s favorite and the biggest hit of all time because of this the show is now in its fifth season and the fandom is eagerly waiting for S.W.A.T Season 5 Episode 13. Before discussing the release of this episode let’s take a look at what happened in the previous one.
Recap of Season 5, Episode 12
S.W.A.T Season 5, Episode 12 was released on 6th March 2022 titled “Provenance”. The episode begins with Winnie and her dad Daniel at the restoration museum, Winnie showing him the place around where she works. Later they get into a little argument and he leaves even without saying goodbye. Meanwhile, some robbers get inside the museum, taking everyone into captivity creating a hostage situation.
S.W.A.T gets to know about the ongoing situation and Hondo receives a call from Winne but Robert orders everyone to get to the museum for a rescue operation. Hondo becomes impatient as they couldn’t enter the museum since it was locked by the robbers from inside.
Meanwhile, Julia manages to hide her phone with herself and gives it to Winne for contacting Hondo to get them updates about what’s happening inside the museum. When Hondo and Winnie were on a call, she tries to talk to the robbers for letting her help the injured guard which made Hondo and the S.W.A.T know where they were kept, hostage. The team enters the museum by blowing up the gates.
For the time being, the robbers plan to get out of the museum from an old tunnel that was locked but they were unaware of it as they didn’t have any information about it. When they realize that there is no other way to get out they decide to threaten the hostages so that they could sneak out easily. Meanwhile, Hondo stays outside and waits for Winne’s call if she tries to reach out to him.
After Hondo finds out about their leader’s identity, He calls him inside the museum and tries to convince him to tell about whoever hired him for the robbery. Hondo also did this to distract him so that S.W.A.T could get on to their work of rescuing people. However, the leader realizes Hondo’s move and tells his team to get out of the museum. Outside the museum, team S.W.A.T gets to know that someone from the inside was the culprit behind all this and the possible suspect is Julia, the intern as pointed out by Daniel.
Before the robbery, Winnie was misled by Julia as she took Winne to the secure room and stole expensive jewelry. Later in the episode, we get to know that Julia did all this because she wanted revenge for her grandmother’s painting which was once stolen and had been put for auction in the museum, and because of this her grandmother got nothing. When the backstory ends, the episode shows us Julia escaping the secure room leaving behind the leader and Winnie, but she gets caught by team S.W.A.T. In the meantime, Hondo rescues Winne before the leader of the robber could kill her.
