After the council meeting, the new demon lord pays a visit to Ard. There he revealed the identity of the man behind the knight suit. The plot twists when we find the knight was none but he, himself! Varvatos aka Ard. This Varvatos is from the later future than the timeline of Ard. He came to the past in a similar way Ard did. They both want to save Lydia from dying.

Lord Varvatos reincarnated himself as Ard to find a stronger opponent. But in the end, he has to fight against himself. So, finally Ard is facing Ard! Both Ard from different timeline has made up their mind to win. One wants to save Lydia from dying. And another wants to save Lydia from her guilt! Though they have the same purpose the path is way more diverged.
The Knight Ard wants to give life Lydia because of his own guilt. Whereas, the other Ard wants to fulfill Lydia’s wish. As they hold the same power it is difficult to judge who will win. But at least it is confirmed that there will be a play of ethics and morals.
