‘A Quiet Place’ has left quite an impact on its audience and has managed to get a decent spot in the list of Hollywood’s best sci-fi horrors and thrillers. Its complex and intriguing plotline is based on a dystopian future where the earth is under the attack of some aliens have who cannot see but hear. With Emily Blunt and John Krasinski (real-life couples) playing the lead as parents, the story of ‘A Quiet Place’ revolves around the survival of a family who suffered from a tragedy shown at the beginning of the movie.
To make the storyline even more interesting, it is revealed that one of the couple’s daughters is deaf, creating an internal conflict within the movie. Following the tragedy, we flash forward to the present, where Evelyn Abbott (played by Emily) is pregnant. This sets the whole plot in motion. A Quiet Place: Sequel
The sequel is not out yet, but guessing from the previews and trailers, we can say that the family is still alive and still struggling to get away from the aliens. It is also revealed that the sequel will be introducing a new character who will help the family fight against the aliens, and Cillian Murphy will play this character. Along with new characters, we will be also introduced to new human conflicts and dangers, apart from new blind monsters. The sequel will have a lot to offer and will be co-written and directed by John Krasinski. The sequel to ‘A Quiet Place’ will be released in March after the delay caused due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
Spin-Off Confirmed & In Production By John Krasinski
Paramount Studios has confirmed the spin-off of ‘A Quiet Place’ via an announcement this week. The show will be created by Jeff Nichols, who is also the creator of Midnight Special, Muds, and many others. Even though the plot is not fixed yet, it is confirmed that John Krasinski is also on the writers’ board. The spin-off is set to be released in 2022. Stay tuned for more updates!
