Life Below Zero represents people living in remote areas of Alaska. The main focus of this documentary is the daily struggles they do in below zero degree temperatures. They use the scant resources at their trading and win the battle against death every day. This is more likely any other survival programs in the National Geographical Channel. But the main difference is the place, that is – Alaska.
The show exactly follows seven people, aka the seven hunters. Their life, battle strategies against the bare and cold below zero. The place they are in has the lowest population density in the United States. Thus, if they want, they could not help themselves from any elements from the locals. The only motivation that keeps them alive is the preserve necessities they need to make their both ends meet.
Here the hunters prepare for harsh Alaskan winters. And prevent themselves from being hunted in the wild. They are not only given the task to survive alone. They need to help their family to survive and raise their kids and protect them from possible dangers. The hunters also have to teach them how to lead their life on their own terms. Thus they help us in showing how each moment of life is a struggle!
