With movies like Spirited Away, My Neighbour Totoro, and Your Name (Kimi No Na Wa) climbing to be one of the best works of animated movies ever, we are glad to tell our readers about Summer Ghost, a brand new movie releasing this November.

Summer Ghost is a movie illustrated and directed by none other than Loundraw himself, the man who is also credited for illustrating big hits like “I Want To Eat Your Pancreas”. The beautiful visuals and the plot of the movie tell us that summer ghost might clearly become one of his finest works. Therefore, if  I were you I wouldn’t miss this for the world.

The plot of the movie is centered quite obviously on high school students. I mean let’s be honest who doesn’t love a Japanese high school drama? Moving on, the plot of Summer Ghost is focused on the lives of three high school students named Tomoya Sugisaki, Aoi Harukawa, and Ryo Kobayashi. Although all three of our main characters have no prior connections whatsoever, they happen to meet each other virtually through social media and decide to set on an adventure to find the truth about the urban legend of the spirit girl also known as “The Summer Ghost”.
