Attack on Titan Episode 73 Delayed Due To Earthquake in Japan

The early morning of 15th March brought bad news for people in Japan and Anime fans across the globe. Reports from Japan have established the most recent episode of Attack on Titan will be delayed this week. This is due to an earthquake that hit near Kobe of a magnitude 4.6 earthquake.

The official Twitter handle of Attack on Titan established that the telecast of episode 73 has been suspended indefinitely.

“The 73rd episode “Evil” that was broadcast on NHK General TV was interrupted in the middle of the program due to the earthquake that occurred in Wakayama. We will inform you about future broadcasts and distributions as soon as they are decided.,” the declaration read.

Funimation and Crunchyroll have both established plans to delay Attack on Titan episode 73. Taking to Twitter, the Crunchyroll sent grace to anyone influenced by the earthquake in a brief statement.

Attack on Titan Final Season episode 73 will be postponed, due to an earthquake that occurred in Wakayama prefecture in Japan.

We are sending our love to the residents there.

This suspension is a vital one as it will allow locals in Japan with the most latest news and development on the earthquake and its impact. This tragedy is very distressing as many are comparing it to the disaster of 2011. The devastating blow shattered the area on March 11, 2011. Now, few days following its tenth anniversary,  Japan has experienced another earthquake.

As of now, there is no information on when Attack on Titan will be able to broadcast episode 73 in its entirety. We will share any updates on the same soon. Till then stay safe, stay tuned and keep supporting us. Our prayers are with those in Japan affected by the earthquake today.
