Not only that, but the director of this anime series is also working on a brand new project. This project is with the prolific character designer of Serial Experiments Lain.
This amazing collaboration is coming together in the form of RErideD: Tokigoe no Derrida (or RErideD: Derrida, who leaps through time), an anime produced by Kadokawa and Geek Toys premiering later this year.
The official account for Stein; Gate on Twitter published an image to hint us about a forthcoming project from the franchise.

About Steins Gate Anime
The anime revolves around a ‘mad scientist’ named Rintaro Okabe who operates a lab in Tokyo. The man’s life changes drastically after he trips across the dead carcass of a notable scientist named Kurisu Makise. He makes an impression on a partner about the occasion just to find that his message arrived at his companion before the homicide has really occurred. Incredibly, Okabe’s phone is important for a test time-traveling project. It really worked, enabling him to send instant messages through time. Chills!! right?
