Who doesn’t like Doraemon? I mean it is one of the best cartoons ever, even adults love to watch Doraemon. So Doraemon lovers there is a bit of good news for you! Robot Communications and Shin-Ei Animation are producing the sequel of 2014’s Stand By Me Doraemon. Stand By Me Doraemon 2 is a Japanese 3D animated film. Stand By Me Doraemon is based on the manga named Doraemon.

The directors of the film are Ryuichi Yagi and Takashi Yamazaki.

Release Date of Stand By Me Doraemon 2

Initially Stand By Me Doraemon 2 scheduled to premiere on August 7, 2020. And Doraemon: Nobita’s New Dinosaur originally planned for release on March 6, 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the release date delayed. Moreover, Doraemon: Nobita’s New Dinosaur will be releasing on August 7, 2020. Hence, the second Doraemon film shifted back.

Cast members REVELED

The cast members of the film include Satoshi Tsumabuki returning as an adult Nobita. And Nobuko Miyamoto as Nobita’s grandmother. Moreover, the old cast includes

  • Wasabi Mizuta as Doraemon
  • Megumi Ohara as young Nobita
  • Yumi Kakazu as Shizuka
  • Subaru Kimura as Gian
  • Tomokazu Seki as Suneo

XR ride by Universal Studios

Universal Studios will offer a special XR ride. The virtual reality roller coaster has a completely original story. In the XR ride, riders will travel in the future to view Shizuka and Nobita’s wedding. But then Nobita steals the time machine from Doraemon and runs away from his wedding. Then you will have to chase him in time into space through the space scooter and bring him back.

You will feel tons of sensations during the ride as you see in the world around you. The ride will be located in the Jurrasic Park, where you will bump into Dinosaurs. The XR ride will stay open from August 4, 2020, till January 6, 2021. The studio is opened only for local residents due to the pandemic.
