About ‘Cheer’ and Its First Season
Cheer is an American sports docuseries that debuted on Netflix in January 2020 with its Season 1.
We tagged with Coach Monica Alabama and the Bulldog’s Cheer Team from Corsicana, Texas, to the reputed Navarro College for the Six Episodes of the First Season. We journeyed along with them as they got themselves ready for the National Championship of Cheerleading. Let us now discuss the Filming Details.
Filming Details of Cheer: Season 2
When was Season 2 filmed?
As per the reports, Cheer Season 2 started to film when the first Season was becoming popular on Netflix, that is, in January 2020. the show has made the entire Navarro team a sensation for the nation, which is why we see them appear in many press events.
But, since no one remained unaffected by the COVID Outbreak, it was not long after they began filming that they had to halt the production around march. The filming discontinued around Episodes 3-4, and productions were entirely shut down like all other filming projects.
The team got back to filming and production of Season 2 in September 2020, wrapping up in April 2021.

Where Was Season 2 filmed?
The Second Season of Cheer is shot in Corsicana, Texas, which is home to the Navarro College Bulldogs Cheer Team. It is Nationally-ranked and has over 40 members now.
The National Championship, however, carries on in Florida.
