Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut is scheduled to release on October 3rd, 2021. This was officially announced by the anime streaming platform Funimation on its website on Sunday. This news came out as Funimation began to launch its Fall 2021 lineup. The Funimation Fall lineup includes titles like Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train, Ranking Of Kings, with many other titles.

The anime’s official website released a summary of the first episode of Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut. The summary is as follows:-
Episode one introduces Lev, a young aspiring astronaut. One fine day he gets an order from his superior to train a girl Irina. Irina is destined to be on a manned flight mission with a vampire. This mission is considered a top-secret mission.
The vampire who is going to accompany Irina on this mission is feared by people. We see Lev, who heads to the cell where she was.
About The Anime: Cast, Staff, And Producer
Studio Arvo Animation has produced the anime. This studio is well known for its work in the animation Monster Girl Doctor. The director of anime Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut is Akitoshi Yokoyama, who directed Wolf’s Rain and Photo Kano. Hiromi Kato (Needless, I’m Gonna Be An Angel) has joined the staff for character design. At the same time, Yasunori Mitsuda is composing the music. He previously composed for anime like Chrono Trigger.
