About Voices And Staff In The Rising Of The Shield Hero Season 2:

All the voice artists are reprising their roles in Season 2. Only the replacement being Masato Jinbo for Takao Abo as the director of the series.

Fumiyuki Gou from Overlord is the sound director for the season; Kevin Penkin has given the music while the show is being produced at Kinema Citrus and DR Movie.

Where Can Fans Watch The Series On Release?

Season 1 of the series is available on three platforms. The platforms are Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Amazon Prime Video. Amazon Prime Video is streaming the series in both English dub and subtitles. Crunchyroll and Funimation both will simulcast the upcoming Season 02 before the show can arrive on other streaming platforms. Netflix also streams season 1 of the anime but the region of availability is limited. We can expect the platform to release it in other regions with this new season.

Plot Of The Rising Of The Shield Hero:

As the name suggests, this series is about the rise of one of the four heroes in a world of magic and monsters. Naofumi Iwatani, a 20-year-old student, was sucked into a fantasy game like a realm where he was chosen as the Shield Hero. Three young males were also summoned from other worlds as well. However, Naofumi was the one who got trapped in a series of events due to which he was despised in this whole dangerous world. The reason behind this was a woman who joined his party; she soon betrayed him and accused him of rape.

Season 3 of The Rising Of The Shield Hero was also announced with the announcement of Season 2 back in 2019. So the fans can be happy as the series will continue for at least one season.
