Cells at Work Season 2 Episode 2: Release Date, Storyline, Where To Stream

Cells At Work is a famous Japanese anime series, initially named as Hataraku Saibo. The first season of Cells At Work premiered from July 2018 to September 2018. Season 2 Episode 2

Sadly, the Cells At Work season 2 episode 1 has not been officially released in Japan yet. The show will be available for regular streaming from 9th January, 2021, as expected. However, on the bright side, Funimation released the 1st episode 2 days earlier, on 7th January, making the 2nd episode scheduled to be premiered on the 14th of January this week. Season 2 Episode 1 is titled “Bump” while the second episode’s title is revealed to be “Acquired Immunity/Peyer’s Patch.”

Cells At Work: Season 2 Episode 2 Storyline

Crunchyroll’s synopsis can perfectly explain the basic plot of this show to anyone who is not aware about the anime: “This is a story about you. A tale about the inside of your body. According to a new study, the human body consists of approximately 37 trillion cells.” The show basically revolves around these cells and their processes inside the body. The 1st episode of season 2, Cells At Work, revealed a small glimpse of the series outline. The main leads seem to have escaped after destroying the deadly viruses. It has been officially confirmed that the season 2 will have a total of 8 episodes with a running time of 25 minutes per episode.

The second episode of the anime series can be streamed online on Funimation. Other channels on which fans can catch all-new episodes of the much- awaited second season are: Crunchyroll, Wakanim, Animelab, and Netflix. Stay tuned for more updates on Cells At Work and many other animes!
