What is the show about?
The Quintessential Quintuplets is a slice-of-life anime, sprinkled with a bit of romance. It is adapted from the manga ‘Go-Tobun no Hanayome. ” The show centers around a young high school student by the name of Futaro Uesegi. He is extremely academically gifted and does well in school – however, he leads a difficult life. His mother has passed on, he does not have any friends and his father in a large amount of debt. Futaro has to do something about his situation.
Futaro is given an opportunity when a rich family transfers to his school and he takes on the job of their tutor. However, the real challenges arise here when Futaro realises there are FIVE sisters who he has to teach and they have no intention of learning and have terrible grades.
Futaro navigates through these challenges and eventually builds good relationships with each of the girls. [Spoiler] – In a flash forward it even shows that he goes on to marry one of them but the identity is revealed only towards the end.
What is Season 3 about?
No spoilers of Season 3 are available. However, on the day that season 2 came to an end, the creators released a trailer for season 3.
