Crunchyroll & Adult Swim Announce “Fena: Pirate Princess”

After like forever Crunchyroll and Adult Swim Con have teamed up. They are producing new upcoming anime series releasing next year. On Saturday night on July 25, 2020, Adult Swim Con announced its latest original  “Fena: Pirate Princess.”

Rundown story of Fena: Pirate Princess

As per the official page of Crunchyroll the story of Fena: Pirate Princess runs as described:

The series tells about the young orphan girl, Fena Houtman. She has been raised on an Island where there is no hope of becoming anything more than a Chattel. The people there get used and then discarded by the soldiers of the British Empire. Fena has more than how she often seen as. She is a powerful and bold girl. When her mysterious past knocks on her door, The chain of oppressors will be broken by none other than Fena. Her goal includes forging a new identity, getting free of bondage, and search for a place where she can discover her true self. Moreover, find the mystery behind the word “Eden.” This is a story about her lifetime adventure along with her team of misfits and unlikely allies will have, in chasing her goal.

More about the anime series

Fena: Pirate Princess contains total 12 episodes directed by Kazuto Nakazawa (B: The Beginning, Kill Bill, Parasite Dolls). Production I.G will do the animation of the series. Crunchyroll and Anime Swim Con has also produced “Blade Runner” that was announced two years ago.

“The global anime community is going to love adventuring alongside Fena in this new series setting sail next year,” said Sarah Victor, head of development, Crunchyroll. She added, “We’re delighted to be working alongside Adult Swim to bring this new series to life.”
