The theme park idea has always provided excellent revenue. This time Universal Studio Japan is partnering with Pokemon with an extension to its theme park. In addition, the studio also announced a Donkey Kong Extension in 2024. Universal Studios around the globe are successfully running theme parks. Apart from this, a partnership with Pokemon will be highly beneficial and profitable to the company.
Universal Studio Japan:
The theme park of Japan’s Studio was opened back in 2001. Earlier, it didn’t provide many attractive features. However, Universal Studios Japan started making partnerships with Nintendo, Hello Kitty, and other giants. On October 5th, 2021, the studios announced a collaboration with Pokemon. Additionally, the announcement also added some new features the Pokemon addition would provide. Previously on September 30th, 2021, the studio announced a Donkey Kong extension to Super Nintendo World Japan. Apart from this, a partnership with Pokemon would surely attract exponential growth in visitors.
Universal Studio Other Attractions:
The Pokemon extension is undoubtedly great news. However, Universal Studio Japan has other aces up its sleeves as well:

Universal Studio And Pokemon:
It isn’t the first time. Universal studio is partnering with Pokemon. Universal Studios Orlando already has a Pokemon area in its Florida extension, KidZone.
Nevertheless, the partnership in Japan would feature some other attractions. Apart from the casual rides and character interactions, the deal has been made for the long term. However, the initial stage of the Universal Studio Japan Pokemon extension would only include costumed mascot performers. The grand opening will take place next year in 2022.
