When Boruto: Naruto Next Generations was first released, it received a very mixed reception. Fans were especially shocked to know that Masahi Kishimoto, the writer of Naruto, wasn’t writing the series anymore. Instead, he handed over his brainchild to Ukyō Kodachi. Although Ukyo did his best to carry forward the amazing story of Naruto, it just wasn’t living up to the expectations. However, much to the delight of the fans, Masahi Kishimoto has once again resumed writing Boruto and intends on finishing what he started, releasing one chapter every month. The ratings for both the manga and the anime have considerably gone up, making the series even more popular.

With the story getting more interesting after every chapter, the fans have been eagerly waiting for chapter 57 to get released soon. Episode 195 is now already out, much to the delight of the fans, the new chapter won’t be a very long wait.

Spoilers And The Story So Far

The story of Boruto Began with a peaceful Konoha. Under the guidance and protection of Naruto and Sasuke, it seemed that the future generation of Konoha wouldn’t have to face the same adversities as their parents. However, with the rising power of Okutsuki and new and more powerful enemies fixing their eyes on Konoha, it seems that peace isn’t an option.

Chapter 57, titled “Ada”, is like the calm before the storm. The Kages are once again forced to confront a powerful enemy called Code. However, before that, Naruto is forced to make a very tough decision. The chapter shows a conversation between Naruto and Amado. Amado offers Naruto Byakugan suppressing pills. These pills will help Boruto suppress the powers of Okutsuki sealed inside of him. However, the pills come with great risk. Their side effects can not only leave him blind but can also prove fatal. The worst part is that Boruto might have to take the pills regularly, which will eventually take his life. Naruto is once again conflicted between the duties of a father and a Hokage.

Meanwhile, the chapter mainly showcases the interaction between Ada and Code. Ada harbours intense hate towards Amado, whereas Code wants to take revenge against Naruto, Sasuke and Amado. The chapter makes it apparent that Konoha is once again on the verge of an all-out war.
