Episode 11 of Komi Can’t Communicate in my opinion was one of the funniest so far. With the entire class debating what to do in the school festival, a cliche episode of every high school manga, it seems that Tadano’s class went a bit extreme and of course made sure to revolve everything around Komi.
The funniest thing about the anime I feel is how her class literally treats Komi like a Goddess and makes a special throne for her while each class member is working for the sports festival. The episode highlighted Komi’s little adventures including how she went shopping for the festival with a tad bit slow new character and Onimine-san.
It then shows, how Komi and the other girls from the class make onigiri for everyone, and each class member tries to guess the ones made by Komi. However, it is, in the end, Tadano, who picks an oddly square-shaped one that turns out to be Komi’s.
The story then showcases the day of the cultural festival and something which everyone had been waiting for, to see Komi in a maid costume. However, things take a hilarious turn when a maid-cafe fan enters their cafe and feels that Komi is angry at him for judging the cafe and his entire debacle with the class is hilarious.

We get to see Komi’s mother and brother once again, who like Komi are treated like Gods, esspecially her younger brother Shousuke who’s made to sit on the throne by the rest of the maids for his charming looks, But the character soon leaves as he begins feeling uncomfortable. One of the most hilarious moments of the episode was definitely seeing Tadano in a wig and dress, to which his sister clicks a photo and makes fun of him, while the rest of the boys in class find him “not bad, not bad at all”.
The episode ends with Komi telling Tadano that he looks very cute and the two of them sit together for some reason feeling embarrassed. The next episode of the series will once again show the cultural festival and hopefully reveal some hilarious laughs like others. I don’t know what it is about Komi Can’t Communicate, but the fact that the show is so cute, funny, and heartwarming at the same time really tells us something.
Although, it can be a little cliche at times, it never fails to deliver some gentle laughs and every character of the series is well written with each and every one of them in love with Komi. But, the biggest fact is Tadano Hitohito who considers himself an average high school boy might just be the most normal-sane person in his entire class add to the series’ laughter.
