In contrast, Netflix has opted to launch anime in India through its OTT platform. Hence, Netflix has announced to stream Irregular At Magic School Season 2.

The sci-fi action fantasy anime has climbed its way up to get an anime adaptation. For one thing, it started as a web novel, then continued as a light novel. After that, it was serialized as a manga, and finally, it got its first anime adaptation on April 5th, 2014. Tsutomu Satō had written the web novel and the light novel. However, the writers of different seasons of the anime changed with each new one. Apart from the writers, Irregular At Magic High School was also licensed by various anime studios like Madhouse, Aniplex, etc.

The story follows a sibling duo of Tatsuma and Miyuki Shiba studying at the Private Magic University Affiliated High School. Apart from this, the anime takes place in a world of magic where the number of magicians has degraded after World War 3. Moreover, the new world has been divided into four superpowers, Namely the United States Of North America(USNA), the New Soviet Union, the Great Asian Alliance, and Japan. Since a magician’s ability is honed through their genetics, the Japanese government has ten significant clans with the original genes of magicians. In Irregular At Magic High School, Miyuki and Tatsuma are from one of these clans and want to hide this truth from their classmates. However, every time they try to do something right, they create chaos on the campus.

Nevertheless, the anime throws action-packed battles throughout the series. Not only do the exhilarating battles attract the viewers, but also the hilarious scenes the anime provides. The second season of Irregular At Magic High School shows some USNA students infiltrating the Japanese school to get some intel. While the first season, which was released in February this year, got great feedback, let’s see how the second one performs. The second season would stream on Netflix from November 1st, 2021.
