But according to the reports, Eight Bit Production Studio has not mentioned anything for the season 3 renewal till now. For an anime to get a renewal, it needs to have resources available in manga and the reaction it garnered through the performance, and it can be seen that this anime has both of them. Hence the want for more is there. If we calculate the volumes of light novels this series has released, we can definitely hope for more than 3 seasons to cover the content up in the future.

What Are Other Slimy Preparations Being Done For This Anime?
The release of the official date of season 3 has not been discussed yet. But, we can somehow calculate the possible time for its release from the previous season’s releases. For example, Season 1 was announced in March 2018 and was streamed in the very same year’s October. Season 2 was confirmed in March 2019 and premiered in January 2021. The second season was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic; otherwise, its initial release was in October 2020.
But with the pandemic somehow loosening from its critical hold on the anime industry, many new releases have been lined up. One of them is Eight Bit Production Studio‘s anime movie for our own That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime. It is scheduled to be released in Fall 2022 In Japan. So this even gives us an idea that if they think of releasing Season 3, they may do that by 2023.
