Tokyo Revengers is a fan favorite shonen-action genre anime series. Anime series premiere in Spring 2021. The first season ended a few months back, and viewers were waiting for Tokyo Revengers Season 2.
About Tokyo Revengers:
Adapted from the manga of the same name, whose author is Ken Wakui. On April 11th, 2021, Tokyo Revengers started its run. Well, it ended with the 24 episodes on September 19th, 2021. Studio Liden Films animated the first season of anime. In contrast, the series was officially licensed to Crunchyroll and Muse Asia in North America and Asia.
Due to its gripping story and character writing, the Tokyo Revengers were also adapted into a live-action. Izumi Takahashi wrote the movie while Tsutomu Hanabusa directed it. Live-action movies reached the mark of the highest-grossing live-action of 2021. The movie earned a total of 39,563,158$.
The series Tokyo Revengers earned a spot of #214 has a rating of 8.32 on MyAnimeList. While on IMDB, it had a score of 8.5. Although the numbers don’t exactly tell how great an anime is, they tell you that it’s a must-watch.
Was Tokyu Revengers Season 2 Announced?
No announcement has been made by any of the committee members, whether there will be a second season or not. But fans are speculating it to be the case. There are few reasons why Tokyo Revengers can return:
Abundant Story:-
There is a good amount of story left in the manga. The first season of anime covered only the first 8 volumes of the manga until chapter 73:- “A Cry Baby”. Suppose that next season adapts 8 volumes like its previous season. Then there is a possibility that anime next season will be there. The ongoing manga has a total of 24 volumes at present, with 8 adapted into anime and 16 volumes left in addition to more coming up.

Popularity And Sales:-
Tokyo Revengers is very popular among viewers. Since anime’s popularity increases the sale of manga and its merchandise. Anime can very well get a sequel to promote income from other sources. These sources include manga, merchandise, Blu-ray, DVD’s, and others.
Release Date Of Tokyo Revengers Season 2:-
Currently, season 2 of anime is not announced. But if it does release, then it would probably be in late 2022 or early 2023. If the sequels continue from where the previous one ended, it will begin with “Get Back” Chapter 74.
The Plot Of Anime:
The story revolves around Takemichi Hanagaki. Takemichi learns that his former girlfriend has died. Due to a strange natural phenomenon, he was sent 12 years back in the past. Now Takemichi does whatever he can to save the life of his love.
