Plot Of The Story

The story revolves around the life of a 37-year old, single man named Satoru Mikami. Satoru is just an ordinary fellow, working day in and day out from 9-5. Content with his life and a bit sad about not having a girlfriend, Satoru has gotten used to living like this. However, Satoru’s life changes forever when on a casual meet up with his colleagues, an assailant fatally stabs him.
Before losing consciousness, Satoru hears, what can be summarized as a gibberish chant that doesn’t seem to make any sense.
Upon waking up, Satoru is shocked to see that he isn’t a human anymore. Instead, he has been reincarnated as a slime! he wakes up in an unfamiliar world with an unfamiliar power inside of him. Satoru discovers that he has the power known as the “Predator”. A power that grants him the ability to devour anything and copy its appearance and powers.

On his journey to discover this new world, Satoru meets the “Storm Dragon”. A dragon that has been sealed for over 300 years for burning a city to the ground. Satoru befriends the dragon and promises to break the seal and to set him free. Grateful to Satoru, the dragon promises to protect Satoru for the rest of his life and gives him the name – “Rimura Tempest”.
Strangely, Satoru had to be killed in order to learn how to live his life. This new world had not only given him another chance but also gave him new friends, even though those friends are powerful monsters capable of destroying the world. This is the story of the adventures of Satoru, who, along with his magical beast friends, form the kingdom, Tempest.
