The Poe Clan Manga by Moto Hagio to resume in June

The May issue of Shogakukan’s Monthly Flowers magazine declared on Saturday that it would continue Poe no Ichizoku. Poe no Ichizoku: Himitsu no Hanazono (The Poe Clan: The Secret Garden). Another circular segment in Moto Hagio’s Poe no Ichizoku (The Poe Clan) manga. It will continue from the August issue on June 27. The magazine’s July issue will likewise distribute a side project section on May 28.

The Poe Clan manga propelled last May. And the finish of the original part declared the manga’s rest with an arranged return of spring this year. The new plot segment takes place in the era of 1888. It highlights Edgar and Allan meeting someone in particular.

Moto Hagio composed the Poe Clan. Shogakukan serialized it in the month to month manga magazine. The Bessatsu Shōjo Comic from March 1972 to June 1976. The individual parts were gathered into five tankōbon volumes under the Flower Comics engrave.

The Poe Clan: Plot

Poe Clan was the first shōjo manga Shogakukan ever distributed in exchange soft cover group. Shogakukan later re-released the whole arrangement in three bunkoban volumes on July 17, 1998. And afterward, again in two wide-boycott volumes. They were released on November  26, 2007, and on December 21, 2007, individually.

The original The Poe Clan manga is a fantasy series that depicts several short stories revolving around a young vampire named Edgar, who has lived for over 200 years. The series is set in Europe in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Hagio wrote two new chapters for the manga titled “Poe no Ichizoku: Haru no Yume” in Monthly Flowers in May 2016 and May 2017. A compiled book volume for the new chapters shipped in July 2017.

The Poe Clan: History

In April 2016, The Poe Clan’s celebrated its 40th commemoration. To honor it, Moto Hagio said it would distribute two new sections of the manga. Under the title Pō no Ichizoku: Haru no Yume (“The Poe Clan: Spring’s Dream”) in the josei manga magazine Monthly Flowers.

The primary section distributed in the July 2016 issue, discharged on May 28. The subsequent part deferred and, in the end, distributed a year later in the July 2017 issue, released on May 27. Shogakukan gathered the pieces into a single tankōbon volume under the Flower Comics Special engraving on July 10, 2017.

After the finish of Haru no Yume, Hagio declared that another manga arrangement. With the title Pō no Ichizoku: Yunikōn (“The Poe Clan: Unicorn”). It would start serialization in Monthly Flowers in spring 2018. The primary section of the manga debuted in the magazine’s July 2018 issue, discharged on May 28. The arrangement went on break in the September issue, released on July 27. And it restored the next year in the May 2019 issue. It released on March 28. Shogakukan gathered the parts into a single tankōbon volume under the Flower Comics Special engraving on July 10, 2019.

Release Date: New Manga

Another circular segment of the manga titled Pō no Ichizoku: Himitsu no Hanazono (“The Poe Clan: The Secret Garden”) started serialization in Monthly Flowers’ July 2019 issue. It launched on May 28. The magazine uncovered toward the finish of the principal part that the manga is going on rest and will return in spring 2020.

The manga has inspired a live-action television series, as well as a stage play adaptation by the famous all-female musical theater troupe Takarazuka Revue.
