Seraph Of The End Season 3 has not been announced yet. Nevertheless, fans hope that the popular anime will get a season 3 soon, and it will be as good as the past seasons, if not better. Also known as Owari no Serafu, the anime is a huge success, just like the manga, and weebs are super excited about what will happen next in its dark world.
Seraph Of The End Season 3 Release
So far, Wit Studio, which produces, has not announced a new season. It has already been more than five years since the anime made its debut, and fans now desperately wait for further leads. Since the anime was a success, hopefully, we will get to see season 3 soon.
Why is Seraph Of The End Season 3 Being Delayed?
The anime is based on the manga written by Takaya Kagami and illustrated by Yamato Yamamoto. The manga debuted in 2012 and; the anime was announced in 2014 and hit the screens in 2015. The anime covered most of the manga with not much material left for the third season. The 24 episode anime was split into two parts of 12 episodes. Ever since the anime’s completion, the mangakas have published around 40 new chapters! Some light novels were also published. Hence, there is enough content available now for at least one more season.
Spoilers For Season 3
Though the studio has informed us about nothing, fans have some ideas about the third season. Though Seraph Of The End mostly follows the manga closely, season 3 might diverge from the manga. Chances are the anime will pick up from the Osaka arc in which the Progenitor Council- a group of high-ranking (and powerful) vampires- will come into Japan to curb the recent human uprising there.
We might see more of Kureto Hiragi, who wants to take over the world. Also, we might get a chance to learn more about the powerful Hiragi family. We might see more of Ferid Bathory in action as he juggles his relations with the humans and the progenitor council. Our MCs will most likely travel abroad to new places adding a refreshing note to the series.
Where To Watch?
Weebs can enjoy Yūichirō’s apocalyptic tale on Hulu and Funimation. In Japan, the show is broadcasted on Tokyo MX, MBS, TVA, and other chances. You can watch the trailer below to get an idea of this vampire dominated world:
Conclusion
Though we don’t know when season 3 will debut, fans are still optimistic about it. Season 2 ended on a cliffhanger, and it is in no way justifiable that we get no further updates now. Nevertheless, let us wait, fingers crossed, about Seraph Of The End Season 3.
