It all started with various 2.5D stage plays, with the first one in 2017. Henceforth, Rusted Armors has had two manga releases and an upcoming anime release in January 2022. Firstly, hagi wrote the previous two volumes of the manga in 2019. Henceforth, Kairi Shimotsuki took over the manga and wrote new storylines since May 14th, 2021. In July 2019, the production announced an anime adaptation. On November 19th, 2021, Rusty Armors 2nd PV announced the debut date to be January 9th, 2022.
