Record Of Ragnarok Season 2 Confirmed: Release Date, Preview And Where To Watch

The insanely popular anime called Record of Ragnarok is getting a second season. It was released on Netflix in June 2021 and captivated viewers at once. After the first season was left with a cliffhanger, fans worldwide have been waiting for this news. The first season has 12 episodes each of 24 minutes. On 18th August 2021, it was announced on their official website that the series had been renewed for a second season with a new key visual. The Seinen manga is written by  Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui. It was released in November 2017. The anime was adapted by Graphinca and was premiered on Netflix on 17th June 2021.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

The story revolves around a war between humans and the gods. After millions of years, the gods decide that humans should go extinct due to their inability to improve or redeem themselves. However, Valkyrie Brunhilde protests to let humanity prove itself one last time. To this, the gods prepare to hold a tournament called the battle of Ragnarok. In this battle, 13 humans have to duel against 13 powerful gods to death. If the humans manage to acquire seven victories, the gods will spare them. Moreover, each human will be given a valkyrie to assist them during the fight. Valkyries turn into powerful weapons during combat according to the users’ particular skill.

After watching the first season of Record of Ragnarok ended with a cliffhanger, fans have been waiting for news regarding the second season. Well, the wait is finally over! Although the release date hasn’t been revealed yet, the announcement of the second season made it pretty clear that it is not far away. Moreover, we got to see the new key visual.

Unfortunately, no preview or trailer of the anime has been released yet. However, there have been many fanmade fake trailers. Be sure not to fall for them!

The first season is available on Netflix; hence we can assume that the second season will also be streaming there. The creator has revealed that the anime will be broadcasting on Japanese TV networks, including Tokyo MX, BS11, MBS, and Cartoon Network
