My Hero Academia, a milestone anime, premiered on April 3, 2016. It redefined the superhero genre and had a significant influence on pop-culture, furthermore, many consider it to be the greatest anime of the decade. MHA Season 4 Recap

In the previous season’s finale, we witnessed the current number 1 hero, Endeavor, as he battled the newly bioengineered Nomu. This Nomu had various abilities that set it apart from the previous renditions, moreover, the episode showed us the complexities in Endeavor’s personality. While he inflicted abuse on his family, he also wanted to become a hero of the masses.

Endeavor emerged victorious alongside his number 2, Hawk, after a hard-fought battle. During the battle, he proved to himself and others that he is capable of self-sacrifices. The victory was celebrated and hailed as a new beginning. Endeavor became the new symbol of peace.

In the post-credit scene, we watch as Midoriya dreams, standing among the previous users of his quirk, One For All and he could see All For One, transferring his powers to his quirk-less brother, as the original One For All user notices Izuku, the 9th user of the quirk, and reaches a hand out. As their hands meet, Izuku wakes up to find his hand glowing.

My Hero Academia Season 5 Episode 1 Spoilers

This episode will be an anime original, and won’t follow the source material but will instead be a filter episode of the time between season 4 and season 5. It is titled “Episode 0”.

The fifth season will adapt the Joint Training Arc, where students of class 1-A and class 1-b will fight each other to observe the class’s growth, moreover, episodes will have students encountering villains that managed to get into the school premises. The young heroes will have to work together to defeat the enemies.

No spoilers on the episode are available yet. They are usually available 2-3 days before the release of the episode.

Where Can You Watch My Hero Academia Season 5?

You can watch the show on Funimation, where Japanese audio with English subtitles is available, on the same days as they air in Japan, along with this, even Portuguese and Spanish subs are available. While the dubbing industry has taken a hit due to the pandemic, Funimation has taken measures to prevent its effect, as it considers the show a valuable property. Usually, the first couple of episodes are dubbed simultaneously on the day of the Japanese release, however, halfway through the season, the dubs start getting a week or two behind and A similar trend could be expected here as well.
