Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 24 Summary
The Battle
The episode gets right into the battle, Yuji and Nobara try to escape from the blood, Nobara carries Yuji and the two flee away, slipping through the trees. However, Kechizu is able to catch up to them and unleash Eso’s Wing King.
As the episode progresses, we get a flashback and learn more about the lives and past of the Death Painting Wombs. We see how they were born and that they lived by themselves for 150 years, before deciding to side with the cursed spirits, to achieve a world they had dreamed of.
I didn't know it was possible but Mappa has surpassed my expectations, that was one of the best anime episodes i've seen in a long time, time to read the manga now (tho i had already read up till the next arc) #JujutsuKaisen24 pic.twitter.com/eLizQS61F1

Nobara laughs and uses Resonance, she is relieved to see that it works on Kechizu as well. Eso believes that her Resonance won’t be able to harm them for much longer and that the Decay attack technique would keep them from moving around. However, being a vessel of Sukuna, Yuji is unaffected by Decay. After trading blows with the monsters, Yuji and Nobara switch places, and soon the tides turn in their favor.
The Counter
Yuji takes on Eso, blowing off his right arm with a Black Flash! While Nobara takes care of Kechizu, using her Hairpin ability. It detonates a nail inside his head, resulting in his demise. However, the fact that Eso begins crying for his dead younger brother and the fact that Kechizu’s body doesn’t vanish shows the youngsters that they’re not spirits, but flesh and blood.
Eso tries to flee after jacking a truck, planning to get revenge on Nobara. However, Yuji is able to catch hold of Eso, and before administering his final blow, makes an apology. He looks at his bloody hand and comments that it hurts, but not just because of the blood. This scene follows an emotional scene for our characters, in the aftermath of the battle. Later on, we see Aoi and Mei recommend Yuji, Megumi, Nobara, Maki, and Panda to be promoted to grade 1 sorcerers. The episode ends with Gojo calling Nobara and the others, calling them for their next assignment, a top-secret mission.
