The story of Jujutsu Kiaisen revolves around an unnaturally fit high school student, Yūji Itadori—living in Sendai with his grandfather. Yūji isn’t really interested in athletic endeavors, despite his ingrained talents. So he joins the Occult Research Club, where he can take it easy and hang out with his seniors. The Shamans exist to protect the precarious existence of the living from the supernatural. He gets to know about the high-grade talisman from Megumi.
Now happens the craziest part, the talisman is luring curses to his school. Bam! Legends are true now. The feared demon Ryomen Sukuna’s fragments lost now appear out of nowhere. Should any curse consume Sukuna’s body parts, the power they gain could destroy the world as we know it. So preventing that our boy—trying to follow his grandfather’s last words (by extension, help others). Yūji swallows the rotting finger, thinking it’d help. And now possessed by Sukuna’s curses, he struggles but still can be himself most of the time.
Yūji enters the shaman’s school to learn how to locate the demon’s other body parts and thus exorcise himself. Killing him seems like the most optimum suggestion, but the Jujutsu Shamans teacher wants to end this once and for all. Or so it seems.
