That is exactly what happens with our protagonist Takuma Sakamoto. Sakamoto, a high-level introvert who would rather play games than go out and make friends, is magically summoned into his favorite game Cross Reverie by two girls. His life completely transforms. Sakamoto, upon entering into the virtual world, transforms into his character, the demon lord Diablo. However, it turns out that the girls who summoned him wanted him to become their slaves.

But, things obviously don’t go the way the girls planned it. The spell that they fire on Sakamoto rebounds with the help of his magic ring, and both of the girls end up becoming his slave. With a leash on their necks, bound to their master forever, things couldn’t be more awkward for our protagonist. However, as his biggest fears confront him, Sakamoto is forced to come out of his shell and play the character accordingly. Weirdly, it turns out that Sakamoto is a much caring and in-depth person than anyone had ever realized. His bluntness and forwardness help him overcome his problems but also helps in solving others as well. Sakamoto now has only one goal, to get the leashes off of the girls and get the hell out!
