Haikyu!! An anime that has proved that even a game of volleyball has the potential to make their audience cry like a little girl. Let’s face it. Season 4 of Haikyu!! Was absolutely gut-wrenching, not only in terms of the plot and the struggle of our protagonist Hinata but also how he overcame all of it.

In the second cour, of season 4, we saw our favorite team in the nationals battling it out with the 2nd best team in the entire tournament Inarizaki High School! That, too, in their round 2, talk about bad luck! We saw Nekoma High School defeating their opponent and clearing for round 3. However, the path to round 3 was a lot harder for Karasuno.

With Hinata and Kageyama vs. the Miya twins and the spectacular play by both the teams, the match was definitely on par with Haikyu season 3 Karasuno Vz Shiratorizawa. However, no matter who says what, the spotlight was undoubtedly taken by Hinata, especially with the scene when he says “All-Right” and gives a high pass giving the team the much-required momentum. I don’t care who says what. I’m pretty sure 90% of the fans cried in that scene because in the past 3 seasons, we have all seen how much Hinata has struggled with receiving and passing, and for him to achieve such a feat was beyond magnificent.

Therefore, winning against the toughest of opponents in the entire nationals, Karasuno now proceeds to play against their fated rivals Nekoma High School. Let the Batlle of Garbage Dump Begin!

Haikyu!! Season 5 Release Date

Season 5 of Haikyu!! Is definitely something we have all been waiting for. Ever since season 1, we have seen how Karasuno has meddled with their rivals, the Nekoma High School, and have learned soo much from each other. It is because of the bonds between the two schools and their brilliant players that both the teams were able to reach the nationals.

And now that they’re finally here, Season 5 will undoubtedly be one of the best. Although season 4 cour 2 ended in December of 2020, no official announcement of season 5 has so far been released yet. However, we all know that the news is just around the corner. If the creators follow the last year’s trend, then the show could begin premiering between October 2021 to early 2022.

However, we still don’t know whether the match between the two schools will be a 12 episode run or a 10 like season 3. To be honest, the creators have so far been pretty silent regarding the show, not as much as even giving a hint. However, given the status of the brilliant series and how important it is to please the fans, we’re pretty sure that they’re doing their absolute best to make season 5 one of the most brilliant showdowns in anime history.
