An anime adaptation of Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest is in the making. On a normal Saturday morning of September, i.e., 11th September 2021, news dropped, freaking everyone out in the world that’s a big fan of the series. The anime was announced via the Hiro Mashima fan meeting stream on YouTube. Hiro Mashima wrote the 100 Years Quest manga series, which was illustrated by Atsuo Ueda.

Plot
Natsu Dragneel and his Fairy Tail wizard guild team embark on the 100 Years Quest on the northern continent of Guiltina, a quest that has been unfinished for over a century. The gang discovers their job is to seal the Five Dragon Gods, a group of dragons whose strength threatens to destroy the Earth. Meanwhile, Touka, a new member, is possessed by a witch who seeks to capture the dragons’ abilities for her own ends.
