My Hero Academia with 5 seasons and Demon Slayer with 1 season has the most number of viewers still ranking at top of NetFlix watchlist charts. The manga of My Hero Academia was illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi whose 1st and 29 volumes of the manga charted the 2nd and 6th place in the NYC bestselling manga and graphic booklist.

This manga’s intriguing plot focuses around Midoriya, popularly known as Deku, who was born without supernatural power in a world full of supernatural individuals who obtain their Quirks through birth, childhood, or maturation.  Deku aspires to be a superhero like his idol, All-Might, the No.1 superhero who had his mystical One For All skills handed on to him, and who later passed on his ability to the Quirkless Deku on his quest to become the No.1 Hero.

Further, the author and illustrator of the manga series Demon Slayer Koyoharu Gotoug kicked the ball out of the park with his 1 volume of Demon slayer ranking in the 11 positions in the NYC bestselling manga and graphic booklist.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba or the Blade of Demon Destruction, features Tanjiro Kamado, a teenage boy who trains to become a demon slayer to avenge the murder of his family and his younger sister Nezuko, who transformed into a demon.

Newyork Times the well know newspaper company recently added to its newspaper edition a graphic book and manga bestseller list in October 2019. This new edition featuring popular mangas like My Hero Academia And Demon Slayer has been widely praised by the fans of manga and anime for giving the recognition these mangas deserved. In the following year of October 2021, My Hero Academia vol 29 and vol 1 had ranked 2nd and 6th in the top 15 bestsellers in the Graphic Books and Manga monthly category.
