What happened in Episode 8?
Episode 8 of the series starts with Rudeus’s 10th birthday. However, his family is unable to attend due to monster activity in their area. Later, Philip, Eris’s father, offers her hand in marriage to Rudeus, but he declines.
Rudeus finds Eris on her bed, and they start getting intimate, but Eris soon pushes him away. Rudeus may possess the body of a child, but consciously he is still an older man. He apologizes to Eris for his behaviour, and she forgives him.
In the last part of the episode, viewers see a large cloud of Mana forming over Asura Kingdom. Perugius Dola sends his assistant Arumanfi to investigate. Rudeus is a relatively skilled magic user causing Arumanfi to doubt him. Ghislaine helps Rudeus maintain his innocence. The episode comes to an end when a sudden burst of white light engulfs everything.
