What is there not to love about the devil that conquered our hearts and is returning to reign over it yet again. Lucifer Season 6: Release Date

With the overwhelming success of the previous seasons, the fans were left wanting for more. The fans reportedly signed petitions to bring back the series, and miraculously paved the way for the announcement of the 6th season.

According to the sources, the 5th season was supposed to conclude the series. However, the skyrocketing popularity and fanfare forced Netflix to bring back the chaos once again. Lucifer Season 6 is set to release on Netflix during the latter half of 2021 or in 2022 altogether.

 

Lucifer Season 5: Updates and Highlights

The last few episodes of Season 5 part A built up the tension as Lucifer gets shot and Chloe gets kidnapped. Ella finds out that her new boyfriend was actually a serial killer and gets devastated. The season ends with a massive cliffhanger with the appearance of God. The ending scene displays a fight between Lucifer and his twin brother Michael. Lucifer went missing after this fight and the fans are left drooling for more!

Season 5 is split into two parts with part A already released in August 2020. The second part of Season 5 has finished filming and has delayed airing due to the global pandemic. Lucifer Season 5 part B will most likely be released in the first half of 2021.

Who Are the Stars for the Upcoming Seasons of Lucifer?

Tom Ellis is delighted to return to the show and will be starring in the forthcoming series with co-star Lauren German. The cast of Season 5 part B and Season 6 features Lesley-Ann Brandt as Maze, Rachael Harris as Linda Martin, and Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez. Kevin Alejandro will be starring as Dan Espinoza and Scarlett Estevez will portay Trixie Espinoza. D.B Woodside will feature as Amenadiel and Scott Porter is confirmed to appear in both Season 5 part B and Season 6. Other new guest stars who are rumored to appear in season 6 are Chris Coy and Rob Zabrecky.

The final episode of Season 5 part B has been shot and will soon reach completion. The shooting was on hold due to the pandemic, but the filming had restarted soon after. The production of Season 6 had already started and is confirmed to have 10 episodes. Several cast members have confirmed the supposed news and Lucifer Season 6 is to be released soon.

As part 2 of Season 5 is airing in early 2021, it’s most likely that Season 6 will not return on Netflix by the end of 2021.
