The infamous Nintendo Switch game Fitness Boxing receives a TV anime called Kimi To Fit Boxing! It is based on a 2018 sports game called Fit Boxing, developed by Imagineer Co. Ltd. Imagineer is a Japanese company that develops games. The game requires Joy-con motion controllers to execute the dodges and punches. The game launched in Japan on December 20, 2018, in Europe on December 21, 2018, and North America on January 4, 2019. Fitness Boxing 2: Rythm and exercise were released on December 4, 2020. It’s called Fit boxing in Japan. Imagineer also declared that the game had sold more than 1 million copies.
The game includes boxing drills, stretching exercises, aerobics, and much more. The difficulty level of the drills increases as the game proceeds. It has specific scores for each activity. Different outfits can be claimed with each achievement.
The anime will be named “Kimi To Fit Boxing.” It will revolve around the lives of the famous instructors Karen, Hiro, Janice, Lin, Evan, Martina, Sophie, Laura, and Bernard, with Akari Kito (known for playing nezuko in demon slayer), Akira Ishida (known for playing Kaworu Nagisa in Neon Genesis Evangelion), Rie Kugimiya, Saori Hayami, Yuichi Nakamura, Sumiere Uesaka, Ami Koshimizu, Atsuko Tanaka and Akio Otsuka as their voice actors, respectively. Junpei Morita (Morita to Jumpei) directs it. His previous works include the musical fantasy known as the lost song. The motion capture is by SOLID CUBE, and the music is composed by Yusuke Shinto, which will be broadcasted on the Tokyo MX station.
It is scheduled to debut on Friday, October 1st, 202. The anime will receive a total of 12 episodes, each of 5 minutes. It will air weekly and be probably streamed on several platforms. The duration of the episodes rather seems short, but it looks as though it’ll be fun to watch!
