FKA Twigs’ Lawsuit Against Shia LeBeouf: Abusive Relationship & Assault Allegations; What’s The Lawsuit Going To Bring?

The most shocking news of the moment is that FKA Twigs has decided to SUE Shia LaBeouf accusing him of physical and emotional abuse in their relationship.

FKA Twigs (Tahliah Debrett Barnett) has filed a lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend and singer on Friday. As per reports, during their relationship, which was between 2018 to 2019, FKA Twigs was abused physically and mentally by the Even Stevens actor.

Shocking claims in the lawsuit

The lawsuit filed by the singer says that Shia LaBeouf hurts and uses women. He has also been accused of abusing women mentally and physically. Furthermore, he has been called dangerous as per the lawsuit which was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday (13th of December).

FKA Twigs went on to say that he kept her away from her family and friends. Some past incidences have also been mentioned by her. Allegedly, he had once tried to strangle her and had also slammed her against a car. She also accused LaBeouf of giving her a Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) on purpose.

In 2019, the lawsuit said, Shia LaBeouf tried to choke her while she was asleep during their Valentine’s Day trip. This followed by him threatening FKA Twigs to crash his car and driving recklessly while telling her to profess her love for him. She mentioned that she was being threatened for her life during the incident.

When made attempted to escape at a gas station, she was slammed against the car and forcefully made to sit back into the car. She has even claimed that he attempted to strangle her at that time.

In addition, FKA Twigs has claimed that she faced consistent verbal abuse and physical attacks during their relationship. The lawsuit alleges that Shia LaBeouf had a tremendous amount of jealousy when she talked to other men, including waiters to her ex-fiance and Twilight actor, Robert Pattinson.  

Statement by their housekeeper

Their house-help has revealed an incident from the time when FKA Twigs tried to call of their relationship, which has also been mentioned in the lawsuit. As per the statement, when Twigs made an attempt to end the relationship, he forcefully grabbed her and lifted her up.

Reportedly, Shia LaBeouf also had guns in his house which he sometimes kept with him while sleeping.

Stylist Karolyn Pho has also given out her statement confirming that she was treated in a similar way by Shia LaBeouf when she dated him in 2010-2011.

Through multiple attempts by FK Twigs for ending the relationship LaBeouf was always resistant. However, he himself decided to end the relationship later on.

How Did Shia LaBeouf Respond To The Lawsuit By FKA Twigs?

LaBeouf has confessed his alcoholism and aggression issues while talking about the lawsuit with New York Times. He has also said that he has been abusive towards himself and the people close to him. Also, he mentioned that he is ashamed of that history of hurting his closest people and apologized to them in his statement.

Moreover, he added that some statements from other women in the lawsuit are false but he accepts the accountability of his actions. Currently, he is undergoing recovery and therapy for PTSD and alcoholism.

He said that, “I will always be sorry to the people that I may have hurt along the way.”

What Has FKA Twigs Demanded In The Lawsuit?

Reportedly, the lawsuit seeks monetary damages which are to be determined at trial. As per FKA Twig’s statement in the lawsuit, she will be donating a big part of the money to organizations working for abused women.
