A Brief Introduction To The Plot
The Plot of the show is centred around a young man named Satoru Fujinuma. From the outside, Satoru is just an average Japanese man, working to make a living; however, the truth behind his eyes is quite different. The truth is that Satoru was born with a power named REVIVAL, an ability that transports him into a moment of time when some tragedy is going to happen. This power keeps on manifesting itself until Satoru has done something to avert the tragedy and change the outcome. With the help of his powers, Satoru has saved countless lives without the world ever knowing about it.
In his life, the one person Satoru is especially close to is his mother, a law enforcement officer. However, as his mother is about to make a breakthrough on a case and find the killer, the killer ends up finding her instead, murdering her in cold blood. Seeing the death of his mother, Satoru is left absolutely distraught.
However, suddenly, his power of REVIVAL takes him back to 18 years in the past. A frame of time that not only will help Satoru find the killer of his mother but might also help him prevent the death of his 3 childhood friends.
Will Satoru be able to save his mother and his friends? Make sure to watch Erased and find out.
