A Brief Introduction To The Plot
The show’s story takes place in the fictional town of Tomoeda, located somewhere along with Tokyo. The series’s protagonist is the 10-year-old Sakura Kinomoto living a normal life with her widowed father and her elder brother. However, Sakura’s ordinary life completely changes when she accidentally opens the sealed set of magical cards known as Clow Cards in her basement made by the sorcerer Clow reed. Each card possesses different strengths and abilities and has a unique aspect about them. To guide through exactly what the meaning of having magical cards really mean, the guarding card named Cerberus emerges from the book and explains to Sakura that no ordinary human could have opened the seal of the magical cards and that she was able to do so because Sakura possesses magic.
Therefore, now becoming her ultimate guide, Cerberus helps sakura in collecting various magical cards. However, before collecting the cards, she must defeat the card in battle through wit or grit. Throughout her entire adventure, Sakura is supported by her best friend and cousin Tomoyo Daidouji and is constantly watched over by her elder brother, who pretends not to know anything.
It is the dynamic between all the different characters and Sakura’s journey to collect all the magical cards, making it one of the best fantasy/magical shows to watch.
Cardcaptor Sakura Filler List
Releasing over 93 episodes in 20 years, Cardcaptor Sakura is by no means a small anime, and although it is entertaining to watch, it has its shortcomings: FILLERS! Out of 93 episodes, almost 33 are fillers, making its filler percent a bit high. Therefore we have created an ultimate guide for you to glide over the unnecessary episodes and watch the series without any interruptions.
