The Executive Producer, Adi Shankar, is currently working on “Devil May Cry,” which could cause a delay in the release.
Looking at past trends, the seasons tend to have a gap of 15-16 months between them, justified by the animation’s intricate detailing. So season 4 should be out around the second half of 2021.
No information on the cast members of the 4th season has been revealed yet, however, we can expect some voice actors to reprise their roles-
- Richard Armitage as Trevor Belmont
- James Callis as Adrian “Alucard” Tepes
- Alejandra Reynoso as Sypha Belnades
- Theo James as Hector
- Adetokumboh M’Cormack as Isaac
- Jaime Murray as Carmilla
- Jessica Brown Findlay as Lenore
- Yasmine Al Massri as Morana
- Ivana Milicevic as Striga
- Bill Nighy as Saint Germain
Graham McTavish and Emily Swallow, as Vlad Dracula Tepes and Lisa Tepes, might be back, as we saw a glimpse of them in Hell at the infinite corridor.
Some cast members that most likely won’t return are The Judge (Jason Isaacs), Taka (Toru Uchikado), and Sumi (Rila Fukushima).
Castlevania Season 4 Spoilers and Plot
Seasons 1 and 2 are adapted from Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse video game, while seasons 2 and 3 include parts from Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. Season 4 will most likely include parts from Cure of Darkness.
The story follows Alucard’s growing contempt for humans. Will he accept the darkness and move towards his vampiric lineage? Dracula could come back with Lisa, as he knows there are ways to come back from hell. It will be interesting to see how the future of Trevor and Sypha unfolds. And how Carmilla plans to acquire Wallachia.
Ellis has stated that he plans to reach “at least a partial conclusion” by the end of season 4 since it is unsure whether the series will be renewed for a 5th season. There will be exciting developments and climactic resolutions to several plot lines in the coming season, however, the number of episodes hasn’t been revealed yet.
